Mindfulness practice is about exploration and discovery. It is also about being fully human, being fully ourselves.
When we really pay attention, we see that a great deal of suffering comes from our very own mind. We believe that how we feel is because of the circumstances around us. If things go as planned, THEN I’ll be happy. If she sees me in such and such way THEN I’ll be okay. If I get this, then I’ll feel that.
The problem with this conditional way of living is that we are letting others dictate how we feel!
